Goods will be dispatched during our regular business days from Auckland, New Zealand. We have two days where goods are dispatched each week; Wednesday’s and Friday’s NZT.
Please allow 1-3 days for dispatch along with additional times for the freight carrier to deliver your item(s). All shipping times are approximate and a guide only.
We use local shipping services for domestic shipments. For Australia and the rest of the world we use DHL Express. For accurate delivery timeframes please check the tracking information and the website of the postal carrier at the time of shipment. Delivery times may be longer for regional and remote areas.
Shipping costs are determined by the requested shipping address, shipping method and order value/volume. In some cases due to the size or weight of particular items in an order additional shipping charges may apply. In these circumstances customers will be notified by email and asked to pay additional shipping and handling charges before items are dispatched.
New Zealand: North Island 10NZD, South Island 15NZD
NZ Post Standard – approximately 3-5 business days.
Australia: 50NZD
DHL Express - approximately 7-10 business days.
International: 75NZD
DHL Express - approximately 10-14 business days.
Click and Collect:
Click and collect orders can be picked up from SHAKES Auckland physical store during opening hours. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for collection. Please allow up to 3 business days for order processing.
The prices listed on givemeshakes.com include 15% New Zealand Sales Tax (GST).
Sales tax, duty rates and customs charges may be incurred at the destination. The customer is solely responsible for payment of any such fees to complete delivery.
Import rules, duty rates and customs charges vary between destinations and we can’t offer advice on expected charges. Please contact your local authorities for information on
importing goods.
Refusal to pay customs charges will result in your order being returned to us. In this circumstance shipping and return costs plus a 20% restocking fee will be any refund applied.
SHAKES inspects its products
carefully before they leave the store premises.
Returns are accepted at the discretion of our returns department. We do NOT offer refunds, exchanges or store credit for change of mind.
Refunds are NOT offered unless products are deemed faulty.
Refunds Process for Faulty Goods.
We need to be notified of any possible faults for approval of refund, exchange or store credit, prior to the return of the goods, within 14 days of purchase. Store credits can be used in store and are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
Please email us at store@givemeshakes.com before items can be returned.
Returned products must be in “as new” condition with all original tags, labelling and packaging intact.
Returned items deemed worn, untagged, washed or damaged by our returns department will be sent back at your expense.
Items returned without approval will be returned to you at your expense.
In Store Returns.
Items purchased in store may be returned to our physical location for exchange during opening hours. We do not offer refunds on in store purchases unless goods are deemed faulty.

Sale Returns.
The ROGUES GALLERY items are Final Sale items and are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstance unless faulty.
Return Shipping.
If your return is approved we will send a return shipping label. Return and exchange shipping will be charged at the following rates:
Return Only:
New Zealand - 10-15NZD
Australia - 50NZD
International - 75NZD
Exchange:
New Zealand - 20-30NZD
Australia - 100NZD
International - 150NZD
These charges will be deducted from any refund or store credit or invoiced before shipment of exchanged goods.
Cancellations and Amendments.
If an order has already been placed or processed we cannot cancel or amend the order.
To protect our customers, we are unable to change or intercept packages for redirection once they have been sent.
Fit.
Please note that we do not offer refunds for items that don’t fit or for change of mind. We are happy to provide additional measurements and advice to assist with your decision making. Please email us at store@givemeshakes.com for any added assistance.
Faulty or Damaged Items.
If you receive an item you believe to be faulty or damaged, please email store@givemeshakes.com within 7 days with your order number, a brief explanation of the fault or damage and clear images of the fault or damage.
If the product needs to be returned we will provide a return shipping label.
Each claim will be considered case by case basis in liaison with the manufacturer.
If the product is deemed faulty or damaged we will arrange for a replacement. If a replacement is not available you will be eligible for a store credit or a refund.
Incorrect Items.
If you believe you have received an item different to the one you ordered, please email store@givemeshakes.com as soon as possible. Please include your order number and a photo of the incorrect item.
