Fumito Ganryu — Shakes

Fumito Ganryu is a Japanese designer who began his career working as a pattern maker at Comme des Garçons Junya Watanabe. He started designing his own diffusion line for Comme des Garçons, Comme des Garçons GANRYU in 2007, where he would continue to work for a decade. In 2017, Fumito Ganryu left Comme des Garçons to start his own independent, eponymous label, which debuted at Pitti Uomo in 2018. Fumito Ganryu's work is often avant-garde, exploring the relationship between the body, clothes and gender through the use of unique silhouettes and proportions.
